  1. In these videos I posted above, there is a lot of valuable information about Lord Byron. I was going to post like a summary on some of Byron’s work but surprisingly it was hard to find some poem that would be not as big as up to five pages. Then I went on youtube.com and found these series of videos. These videos were conducted by the professionals that work for the history channel. Some people like to read information and some people like to hear it. When I watched these videos I was surprised about how much of the new information I have learned. I was thinking about just summarizing the videos and then posting just the link but having the actual YouTube player on the blog makes the blog look more interesting in my point of view.
From my perspective Lord Byron was not so much of a legend as other famous people we know today. Firstly, the reason I think he was brought up as a legend is because people saw his “weird” in my opinion actions as something majestic. He has brought something new to the society and they loved it. For example: Lord Byron has left his kids when they were young and I think in the video it actually says that he killed one of them. I find it really disturbing, just knowing this kind of information about a famous person would make me dislike him.
In the video it mentions that Lord Byron was guy, or homosexual. He started liking some young man and I find that really weird. (This is a comment section so I’m just stating my opinion.) If Lord Byron had everything and was super rich then why didn’t he live a normal life like any other famous poet? The answer is obvious; if he would be like every other poet then he wouldn’t be special and would not stand out. There was another article I read once about Byron, it was about describing his works and his styles as a poet. “Not a single good line.” the author said about Lord Byron. In some cases a person must be so bad that he would be seen as good. So bad at doing something that he would be seen as a talent.
